y'all aren't homophobic because y'all don't ship kaylor. nobody is out here saying that you have to ship it, cause you don't, and in my opinion, it's d**d anyway.

but please allow me to explain some homophobic behaviors that have been continuously perpetuated by this fandom.
the continuous targeting of what is a mostly sapphic group. y'all are out here coming after a faction that unlike larries, is mostly composed of LGBT fans, who have generally picked up on queercoded messaging in taylor's music. i don't see haylors get half as much (cont)
hatred as gaylors do, and i wouldn't want them to, it's awful, but the fact that y'all come for kaylors for suggesting that taylor's songs might be about a woman way more than y'all come for haylors for suggesting she's still writing about harry suggests (cont)
that y'all are just opposed to the idea of taylor being sapphic, or someone suggesting that she is for picking up on queercoded messaging. y'all say it's disrespectful to joe, and i don't disagree, some kaylors (TTB) are, but haylors do the exact same thing??
and speaking of TTB, whom, just to be clear, i despise, her actions, especially as a straight woman who is older than taylor, do not give y'all the right to target LGBT kaylors as if we're all out here pretending we have sources and shit. it's not hard to (cont)
distinguish between the kaylors who have acknowledged the ship is dead but like to analyze music as the rest of us do, and the (mostly straight for some reason) kaylors on tumblr who constantly act up. coming for LGBT fans based off the actions of straight (cont)
ones, it's gross. some LGBT kaylors do follow her, yeah, and it sucks, but it is not hard to distinguish between LGBT fans who find comfort in queer lyricism, and kaylors going around claiming that karlie's marriage was a fake. anyway, onto my next point.
y'all need to stop dismissing valid criticisms of taylor's activism. i'm talking specifically about LGBT fans here, but honestly, this is a message that needs to be shared regardless. if you are cishet, it is not your place to determine whether taylor (cont)
was queerbaiting, whether she crossed a line with YNTCD, etcetera. but i did see LGBT fans share these criticisms, i was one of them, and i, alongside others, got pushback from straight fans and it shouldn't be happening. it's already weird that y'all are (cont)
hellbent on defending a thirty year-old rich white woman from valid criticism of her activism, it's downright gross when y'all brush off concerns from LGBT fans or dismiss them because they're a kaylor, because i know LGBT fans who have experienced that and it's gross. next!
there is some serious hypocrisy in this fandom when it comes to kaylor and joe. and before this goes any further, i would like to acknowledge some things:
1. yes, i am aware that some kaylors are guilty of this, and they deserve to be called out for it (TTB)
2. (next tweet)
2. yes, i am aware that i invented a crack ship involving joe. but, i have reiterated that it is a crack ship and neither myself, nor anyone else have used joe's femininity to suggest he is gay, because it is a crack ship and has no more merit to it than hobama. moving on.
as i said, there is a great deal of hypocrisy in this fandom where swifties will poke fun at joe's femininity (not okay) and in some cases, will "joke" about him being gay and then turn around snap at kaylors for thinking that taylor is sapphic. two words. not okay.
i know cristina already breached this topic a few days ago, but i just want to make it perfectly clear that making fun of joe, who i think is a genuinely decent guy, for being effeminate is not okay, and it's definitely not okay to do that and then harass kaylors for (cont)
thinking that taylor might be bi. next!! it is seriously hypocritical to go around and accuse kaylors of "sexualizing" tay and kar's relationship and then start making mass sex jokes about cinnabons or suggesting DWOHT is about sex. ignoring for one minute (cont)
my sheer hatred for the use of the word "sexualizing" when describing a potential sapphic relationship because it takes away from what it should be seen as, which is a loving relationship built on intimacy and trust and not some kind of masturbatory material (cont)
i think that it's seriously hypocritical of y'all to go around harassing kaylors for suggesting that taylor is/was in a loving and stable relationship with a woman and then consistently sexualize the most innocent things at every available turn. and no, (cont)
i am not trying to suggest that kaylors have never made a sex joke, or argued over who tops, we have, but my point is that by y'all purely seeing kaylor as a purely sexual thing, it plays right back into that hideous trope of lesbianism being nothing but sex (cont)
and that's dangerous. period. and again, kaylors have done this too, nobody is innocent here. but it's hypocritical to accuse kaylors of sexualizing a friendship on the pure basis of them thinking that taylor was in love with a woman and then turn around and (cont)
sexualize everything from cinnabons to a piece of purple confetti in taylor's hair. for the moment, i am done with this thread, talking about this has exhausted me, but here's the bottom line:
1. it is not 1950 anymore, it is not okay to harass LGBT fans, some kaylors (cont)
like TTB, do need to be called out, yes, and they should be called out. but there's a difference between calling out problematic behavior and demonizing and harassing what is mostly a group of sapphics for thinking that their fave might relate to them (cont)
on that level.

2. whether y'all are kaylors or toes, poking fun at joe's femininity is wrong. it's harmful and i think we should honestly be celebrating joe's confidence and comfort with his body because that's hard to achieve for a lot of people.
3. it is not okay for y'all to dismiss valid criticism of taylor's activism when coming from that particular minority group. that goes for everyone in relation to all areas of it.

4. lesbianism isn't inherently sexual (cont)
and taylor and karlie's relationship shouldn't be immediately equated with sex. again, not saying kaylors don't do this too, but i wish we could recognize that there is more to sapphic relationships than just sex and suggesting that taylor was in one isn't necessarily (cont)
an attempt to sexualize her nor her relationships with karlie or dianna or whatever.

5. before swiffers get mad, again, not being a kaylor doesn't make you homophobic. y'all aren't inherently homophobic for not being kaylors, y'all are homophobic for for targeting sapphics.
6. please try to remember that the majority of us aren't here to cause harm. like i said, some kaylors like TTB want to watch the world burn and should be shoved off the internet permanently for the good of humanity. but other kaylors are predominantly LGBT (cont)
fans who take solace in taylor's music or find comfort in the idea that their fave might relate to them on that particular level, cause i know that kaylor was actually a huge part of my realizing my sexuality and for that, i have an emotional attachment to the ship.
but that's just me personally. anyway, i'm done for now, if i think of any other pressing issues i need to bring light to, i'll add onto this thread but for now i'm going to snack on some kitkat and continue rereading the timeline, goodbye.
