To be honest, I wish Artstation would remove & #39;comments& #39; and instead replace it with an option for & #39;constructive criticism& #39; and & #39;Q&A& #39; regarding the art piece.

What value does the comment have other than offering toxicity /ego boosting?
And a lot of good points in the thread about boosting morale with comments (which I didn& #39;t think about). Some really good points made and I hope this makes the AS staff think about things :).
Replying to this as I left this thread alone. I think the old forum days (Polycount, game artisans) were still the best way to get feedback on a piece, and it would be great to get something like that integrated into as (in a meaningful way)... Cont& #39;d..
I do think & #39;likes& #39; as a metric completely take away from any actual engagement with a piece (which requires a thoughtful interaction) and can be harmful to mental health (& #39; Why doesn& #39;t this piece of mine get enough likes, etc& #39;).
