So many Hindu customs are branded as superstitious/meaningless bec of many reasons including increasing westernisation or sheer ignorance or bec they seem 'illogical'. however there's great science behind most of the rituals.

away as superstitious.
Hindu culture is extraordinarily vast and far beyond what our little minds could perceive. before discarding any custom that seems 'illogical' to us, we must try and understand how and why they exist in the first place.
