Thread: Per PFF, Josh Allen led the NFL last year in 3rd & 10+ conversions with 17. His conversion rate in those situations was 29% - good for 5th in the NFL. Let's take a look at them
Allen makes the safety defend the middle of the field with his eyes, then makes his way back to Brown who runs a nasty hook route for the 1st
Baker gives Beasley too much of a cushion, Allen sees it and hits him right away to give him a chance to make a play after the catch
Jukes out Dunlap & throws a seed over the second level defender to John Brown to convert 3rd & 17. Allen excelled at these out of the pocket, extended play throws down the sideline
Incredible effort by Jones to come back to the QB & extend for the 1st down
"I love watching Aaron Rodgers when he breaks contain because his eyes are always downfield" - Josh Allen
Another example of finding Brown down the sideline to convert 3rd & 14
Daboll dials up the perfect play call vs the blitz
Allen thought he drew the Redskins offside, he underthrows Brown open, who makes the adjustment and comes down with the catch
Absolute laser of a throw on the run to convert on 3rd & 18
Allen sees it's zone and waits for Brown to settle into the soft spot; easy throw and catch
Robert Foster has absolute wheels
Allen hangs in the pocket, takes a shot but finds Beasley open in the middle of the field for the TD
Watching him operate on these 3rd & longs shows me the moment isn't too big for him; hangs in his own end zone & throws an absolute dart to Beasley on the run
"When he lines it up and pulls the trigger, it's pretty to watch"
3rd & 10, 0:50 left down 3, scans the field and finds a way to get it to Brown despite an awkward platform
A few plays later hits Beasley quickly to get them into FG range
Defender has to defend Allen's legs & the throw to Knox; Allen opts for the throw, Knox makes the defender miss and picks up the first
Amazes me how athletic he is in the open field for a guy his size
