Virtual learning doesn’t work and requires a parent, usually the mom, to be the all-day teacher’s assistant. Plus it leaves kids who were already behind for various reasons in the dust. Another great point from this piece I’ve been thinking about: the hybrid idea will mean lots of kids will be mixing with other kids at daycare in their non-school days/weeks, meaning more exposure to the virus, not less.
