U6 rate still elevated but falling to 18%.

Private sector added nearly all 4.8M jobs last month.

Labor force part rate up to 61.5% from large increase in labor force.

Nonfarm jobs are still down 13.3M since March 2020.

Record jobs gain of 4.8 million in June smashes expectations; unemployment rate falls to 11.1%

Another big contributor to the decline of the jobless rate was a plunge in those on temporary layoff. That total fell by 4.8 million in June to 10.6 million after a decrease of 2.7 million in May.
