mitchy collins’ predatory behavior: a thread
i’ve seen many tweets about him being creepy towards younger women and using his relationship with 5sos to get them to come backstage/to a hotel room with him to party
in a recent tweet he said “i just wanted to invite people to the after party in a place where we didn’t know anyone / have any friends”
even though he also says he always asked if they were of legal age, he’s 32 now and would have been 28 at the time. we all know that 5sos has a predominately younger fanbase, so most of their fans during this tour would have (probably) been minors. is this not weird to y’all?
these accounts go back to 2016 during 5sos’ slfl tour

* i’m just going to say that nobody knows if 5sos was behind this, since mitchy is a known predator and again, he used his relationship w them to try to get girls to party w him. even if they are of age IT CAN STILL BE PREDATORY/CREEPY and it can still make women uncomfortable *
someone sent me a dm about this recently, and while i haven’t found proof yet (if i do i’ll add it), here’s someone on tumblr talking about lauren, ashton’s sister, liking posts that criticized mitchy
from 5secondsofsummertheories on tumblr: this is the post that lauren allegedly liked on twitter. their post is from november 2018 and i haven’t found the actual tweet so there’s no definitive proof that she liked it but *someone* saw it
these are mitchy’s vague tweets regarding the allegations. his band’s account posted their album announcement LESS THAN 10 MINUTES AFTER. these allegations have been around since 2016 and you want us to believe that you’ve only “seen some tweets recently”? huh
