why fictional characters are real and why you should tw character death jokes

your brain doesnt have a seprate space for fuctional characters. this being said ur mind processes all of the charaters on screen as it would a real person. this being said ur smooth brain doesnt know that that character from the walking dead isnt real or that spiderman isnt

actually in danger! this means it is absolutely normal to mourn the loss of a character that dies in a peice of media. its normal to miss a character, its normal to love a character, its normal to mourn and greive.

if a character is a “comfort character” to someone this means

the character is a support whether it be to project onto or like a friend, this said alot of people see themselves or someone they love in a comfort character. this means they will mourn over the loss of a character more than you will!! this will make the death of their fav alot

less of a joke for them! greiving affects people in different ways including anxiety attacks and depression! when someone says they are upset by a post that you made it is NOT them being dramatic or asking for attention. its them, greiving and asking for some decency.

do NOT get upset when they ask you to tw something. understand what a character means to them.
