0/ The COVID-19 situation has taken a huge toll on the world but a group of people that are easily overlooked are artists and entertainers. They are out of work and resort to mainstream social media in order to express themselves. Below are a few common trends we’ve noticed:

1/ 1). They don’t get the exposure they deserve on these apps. Sure, this may be subjective but on apps where a huge percentage of users are focused on becoming an “influencer”, it takes away from the attention true talent deserves.

2/ 2). Some artists aren’t comfortable with showcasing their talents on social media because they feel like it would be a waste of time. They feel like it’ll just get overlooked.

3/ 3). Majority of the reactions/interactions on an artist’s post are from other artists!

Art is not just a field, but a community.
