In my opinion, this anti-America (a country which has accomplished more than any other empire in the history of humanity) sentiment is based on the failings of a system which also achieves an incredible amount.

Any free society can and should question and hold accountable the parts of the system that fails. But to throw the entire thing away because of the parts that don’t work is nonsensical (not that the original tweet is that deep, but to me it aligns with that sentiment).
