the relationship between ISO, shutter speed, and aperture is very similar to the relationship between gear ratio, cadence, and power
#oxfordcomma
in photography, we use light to draw on a substrate; the ISO is the sensitivity of the substrate, a low sensitivity substrate requires more light to yield same result as a high sensitivity substrate. the aperture is how much light you allow. and shutter speed is for how long.
in cycling gear ratio is how many times the wheel spins a full circle, in relation to how many times you spin the pedals. the ratio depends on the number of teeth of the gear attached to the pedals in relation to the number of teeth on the gear of the back wheel.
