Following on from my application for a GRC, I found out how long I should expect to wait to hear whether I was successful or not: 4 months
That's 4 months after over half a decade of living in role.
But apparently some people reckon the process is too quick.

I should say, the person I spoke to there was really nice and friendly, and I don't blame the people there for the delay. I blame the lack of resources they are given.
So, update on my GRC application as I contacted them to see if there was any news. The waiting list for the panel is now 6 months. That's just fantastic.
Definitely not annoying at all that there's this kind of a delay on something that should be incredibly simple.

Okay, so big update on this for me. My GRC hearing was today, I should hear back within a month whether I was successful or if I need to provide more information.
