Time to revisit Ontario's Education Act: https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90e02
Specifically the "religion and morals" section.

Arguably, the "religion and morals" section makes the "learning" section a lot harder to do.

Specifically the "Judaeo-Christian" and "love of country" pieces.

And don't even get me started on "purity."
For folks who don't know, "Judaeo-Christian" isn't a thing.

Of the three Abrahamic religions, Judaism and Islam have much more in common than either do with Christianity.

And yet.

(yes, it's often used an anti-Islam dogwhistle.)
Additionally, please point out *anything* about Ontario's school system that is Judaeo anything. I'll wait.

While I'm waiting, what does it tell students whose belief systems are neither Judaism nor Christianity about the value of and respect for their own spiritual lives?
How can we hold both justice and love of country together when justice in our country is inaccessible for so many, in large part because of policies and actions of said country?
(tiniest of examples: what does it mean to pair a land acknowledgment with an anthem that celebrates the theft of that land?)
(additionally, what does it mean to encourage/enforce a static, decontextualized acknowledgement that never adapts to its surroundings?)
