When the pandemic started I carried out a little awareness in my area Kaduna State, the awareness was on how individuals in my area should stay indoors.... Thread

and also practice social distancing in order to curb the spread of the virus.. I live in a place where there are few educated individuals, so I decided to enlighten the resident who live around me on the important precautionary measures to take cognisance of.

It was a welcome idea by the "Sarki"(King) of my community and the people gathered around and I took my time to teach them to the best of my ability. Secondly, when the lockdown was eased by the state government, and individuals could move around,

I also engage myself in teaching those who live around my community on how to make use of sanitizers and how they are to wear their face mask properly, I taught them personal hygiene, that is they should endeavour to wash their hands with soap with running water very often.

Even though I had no money to buy sanitizers and distribute, I did not hesitate to share my knowledge with those living in my community on how to stay safe from the virus.

In conclusion I will say I impacted my community by enlightening them on how to avoid contracting Corona Virus and also safety precautionary measures for them to stay safe and healthy during this period.

Also those who can't afford soap, bought and few detergents and distributed so they'll endeavour to wash their hands regularly which is very vital and important in order to stay healthy and free from the deadly virus.
