For those out there who try to say Amazon doesn't try to keep their employees safe, let me tell you: my husband has been working there since before the pandemic brought us to our knees. Amazon has done EVERYTHING they could possibly think of for the safety of their (2)

employees including hazard pay, sneeze guards between stations, constant sanitation, social distancing when possible, checking temps upon entry of the building (if you're running a temp even after a 10 minute cool down, they immediately send you to be tested), (2)

14 days paid time off if you're positive to quarantine (and they will shut the FC down to re-sanitize thoroughly), they were providing disposable masks for a few weeks until these were made and finally distributed.... did it take time? YES, because (3)

the closest thing Amazon has to a magic wand is a Harry Potter replica! People need to understand that this hit us SO fast that it took time to put measures into place! Things don't just magically appear because we needed them yesterday! It takes TIME to (4)

manufacture and install things that were never needed before. ESPECIALLY for such a large corporation! My hubby LOVES his job. The people who complain, I have found, are people who don't want to work! They want to sit on their bums and still get paid! I see it a lot on here, (5)

people complaining about Amazon even staying open through the pandemic! How the hell did they expect us to get supplies when everything was closed during the lockdown?? They wanted Amazon, grocery stores, etc to shut down! SERIOUSLY? So the rest of us could suffer? (6)

In writing this thread, I want to THANK the workers at @amazon for being on the front lines of this whole mess and proving our necessities! As an Amazon wife, I get to see the swag and goodies you send with your employees to keep them safe and comfortable! I think that is (7)

just AMAZINGLY AWESOME! When the heat set in, you made sure they had cooling rags, personal bottles, and electrolytes to put in their water! Seriously, WHAT warehouse type of company DOES that! We thank our healthcare workers, our first responders, etc, but I honestly (8)

Just as an add on here... my husband LOVES his job!!!! He loves the fast pace and seeing the bizarre items come through (he's in returns). I can see him staying there for a VERY long time! Next time you see an Amazon worker, THANK them for providing you with everything you (1)
