Friend asked for my sanitizer spray recipe. Here it is. You can get everything from a medical store.

80% isopropyl alcohol
15% rose water
5% glycerin

By WEIGHT, ideally.

Isopropyl alcohol for the sanitizing, rosewater and glycerin so you don't screw up your skin. Done.
You can use aloe vera juice or something else instead of the rose water and glycerin or partly replace, BUT - you may need to use it fast, store in fridge or use a preservative.

Won't spoil very fast with that 80% alcohol in there, but not "indefinitely" like previous.
It will be very liquid. No thickener. This is for a reason.

Put everything in a spray bottle and you can spray on hands and rub or spray surfaces you want to sanitize.

The rose water also makes it smell really nice.
You can play around with percentages of ingredients. Only the isopropyl alcohol is critical. Don't go under 80% or over 90%

Rest is up to you. Ideally have ingredients that will help your skin recover from the drying nature of alcohol.
if you don't have a weighing scale and are using volume instead, aim for higher % alcohol

Don't eyeball it unless you've done such stuff before. Easy to mis-judge quantities.
You can also use fancy stuff like serums etc (water based) for the moisturizing ingredients. Bonus, you'll end up pampering your hands several times a day.

I don't bother, because door knobs don't need expensive ingredients.

Or just use water - will dry skin.
If you use a LOT of hand sanitizer, like all the time, because of lots of contact with people, you can down the glycerin a bit to avoid that feeling of it building up on your hands with lots of reuse before it dries off. It will dry off slower than the alcohol and rose water.
If you use a LOT of sanitizer, probably better to use ethanol rather than isopropyl alcohol. But you won't get that easily at the medical store. Amazon may have.
Er.... NEVER EVER EVER NEVER NEVER (you get the idea) drink isopropyl alcohol.

Even when the daaru shops are shut. It is not daaru. You will regret. Or maybe not live to regret, I guess... https://twitter.com/Next10YearsModi/status/1278221380945772544
For those not used to working with weights and are confused with percentages, it simply means that if you want 100 grams of sanitizer, you use 80g isopropyl alcohol, 15g of rose water and 5g of glycerin.

If you want 250g of sanitizer, you use 200g, 38g, 12g. And so on.
