Stop seeing doctors as angels who can't be criticized and start recognizing that western medicine is a violent, colonialist, capitalist institution that comes with all the same pitfalls as the rest of colonialist, capitalist societies and doctors are complicit.
This isn't even to say "all western medicine is inherently bad" or even to say all doctors are bad in the same way all police are.

This is to say we need to deal with the violence of these systems.
And we can't do that without addressing the intersection of racism and ableism, something too many of y'all are content to ignore. We need to center the people most victimized by these systems, and yet they are the most forgotten.
You cannot say BLM and then continuously push Black disabled and trans people out of the movement and then ignore when tons of us die at the hands of racist doctors without being a massive hypocrite.
And you cannot decolonize society without decolonizing medicine. And you can't decolonize medicine if you can't even acknowledge the victims of its violence.
