anime watching superiority. a *short* thread.

if you watch *dubbed* you are the weakest link there is. you probably just got into anime so you’re not quite sure how you should go about it. or,, you’re a weeb and you’ve gotten lazy and your brain needs a break from watching and reading.

if you watch *dub& sub* you are... unique. you might be doing it to see the difference in what is being said versus what the subtitles say. i personally used to do this because i noticed many words were kinda off... but yeah,, y’all weird.

if you watch *sub* you are very common. you’re well cultured on your anime and you’re used to watching and reading simultaneously. you also have big brain energy for multitasking so simply. good on you.

if you watch it *as is (no sub or dub)* then you are a GOD. you are the most powerful anime watcher there is, and you’ve watched enough to understand 97-100% of what is being said (or you’re japanese/ fluent in japanese). i respect you for that.
