Your #HEY free trial is about to run out, but for whatever reason you want to "recreate" the experience in @Gmail, here are a few things to try.

Disclaimer: This is by no means saying one is better than another.
#HEY's #Imbox holds your "important and unread" emails that you supposedly care about.

In Gmail, you can use use "Priority Inbox" to do something similar.

Go to the "Inbox" tab in Gmail Settings: https://mail.google.com/mail/#settings/inbox

Follow pic 1 and your Gmail would look like pic 2
There are 2 ways to simulate #ReplyLater and #SetAside. One is to use Snooze and the other is to create labels for each case and apply those labels when you scan through your emails. You can configure your Priority Inbox (see last tweet) to show them alongside your #Imbox wannabe
If you want to #IgnoreThread in Gmail, use Mute (shortcut "m"). The thread will stay archived until you are explicitly mentioned again.
There might be other ways to mimic #HEY in Gmail, but this is all I can think of for now.

If @InboxByGmail were still around, this thread would've been longer.

Anyways...
Long live opinionated email apps.
