STOP SCROLLINGfilipinos are only days away (july 9th) from losing their freedom of speech. if this bill passes, their primary rights will be taken away. filipinos need our help and there’s barely any talk about it.
the anti-terror bill grants the government the power to define what constitutes as terrorism. to them, terrorists are anyone who speaks against the government.
the bill also allows police, law enforcement, and military personnel duty to arrest people WITHOUT warrants and just for simply using their voices, and protesting or criticizing the government. they can even be jailed for sharing memes.
also police brutality is already a big problem and has happened in the past but this bill will make them abuse their power even more.
