alright lets clear this thing up once in for all because enough has been enough. On this thread I will address @aminKnows & co. Accordingly as I completely and 100% disassociate myself with him or anyone involved with The Bronx United.
First I want to thank everyone who supported me and who stood by me through all of this. I appreciate y’all for holding it down and knowing what i’m about in real life & did not assume I was part of a scam.
On June 2nd, @aminKnows came to me with an idea to clean up Fordham after the looting. I agreed to help and be in charge of organizing the event. Amin told me that he started a Go Fund Me to buy the supplies that were being used.
On June 3rd, the cleaning happened. During the cleaning Amin told me that he made a connection with a gentleman from the Fordham Bid. Amin introduced us and he said that he loved what Amin was doing.
After a couple of hours of the cleaning, Amin came to me with the representative of The Fordham Bid and spoke to me about the idea of this movement called “The Bronx United”. I then asked Amin how did he want me to help with this movement and how does he want to move forward.
He then told me that I could be the CEO of the organization and he would be the COO. He said that the purpose of The Bronx United was to give back to the community. I agreed on the role and proceeded to act accordingly to make sure that the funds were giving back to the community
I walked Fordham every morning and met with the small businesses that were affected the most. I made relationships and connections with the owners and told them about how we could help and the community work we were planning.
I started to notice that people were accusing Amin of scamming and that he would leave with the money. I assumed those were just rumors and never his intentions. He told me that he had the same vision as me.
I realized that I was going all of the work,as you were able to see I was the one doing most of the talking during the interviews. I started assigning work and deadlines for everyone accordingly. No one did what they were supposed to be doing. They showed up late to every meeting.
I reached out to my personal connections to help guide towards success in giving back to the community. I introduced these people who are very respected professionals to Amin and Co.
My connections told me not to trust Amin, that he did not have the same vision as me. Then I noticed that the process of incorporation was taking longer than usual. As a former banker, I know how long that process takes.
The person in charge of the financials was one of Amin’s closest friends, I trusted Amin with this person. This person took more than 3 days to give the bank the corporation documents, which usually is not a more than 1 day process.
I asked Amin what is taking so long to get the documents; He then told me that they had issues filing the documents. I found it suspicious.
I noticed that Amin’s behavior started to changed, he was being attacked on twitter and there were claims of him being a scammer. I was also made aware of a scam tweet that he posted in the past.
Amin and Co requested a meeting at the Fordham Bid with me after our last business meeting. What he wanted to address in this meeting was my personal behavior towards him and others on the team being too demanding for things to be done.
Amin stated that I wasn’t taking his emotions into consideration in this situation. He kept asking me to help him clear his name on Twitter. I contacted a professional advisor to help me with the twitter account in the attempts to help Amin clear his name.
The only reason why I changed my name to “Lil 50k” was to take off some heat from Amin on the timeline. I’m not gonna lie, it was antagonizing, teasing, and some @hellakev shit to do. For that, I apologize.
I had received a call from Amin stating that he would be leaving on vacation the first of week of July. I found it extremely suspicious that he was going on a vacation regardless of what was going on.
On Saturday, 6/27/2020 I received a message from Amin at 4:42 PM requesting a Zoom meeting at 9pm to vote on the future of The Bronx United. An email with topics of discussion would be sent to all board members.
I had no idea of the meeting and what the meeting was about. It was brought to my attention that Amin had shared information about this meeting and previous meetings with people that were not part of the team.
During the meeting, Amin stated that the reason the meeting was made was to vote me out of CEO because he wanted to be the CEO. He said that since he started the Go Fund Me, and paid for the corporation that he should be the CEO, despite what we had already agreed upon.
I received some information regarding the business bureau that I was not included in any of the corporation papers, that it was only Amin’s name. I had no idea and I found that out during the zoom call that was made to vote me out.
Before the vote could be made, I decided to remove myself 100% from The Bronx United and the people involved aside from the ones I brought in. I am completely disassociating myself from Amin and Co. I am in no relation connected to them.
Fortunately, with the suspicions that I had I made sure that Amin did not receive a business debit card, and I made sure that the checks were sent to my address. I will make sure that every single penny is given back to the community, which were my intention from the beginning.
I have been bamboozled. I take all accountability for the actions that I made before I knew what Amin’s vision was. I still want to do good by the community and I still have the supplies donated by the people that day. These can be used to clean or to be donated! DM me for info.
