PAGE MCCONNELL'S #phish KEYBOARD RIGS THROUGHOUT 3.0: A THREAD
2009-2014
2017-2018
2019-2020
2015-2016 was the same as 09-14 except the Nord replaced the Little Phatty
HERE IS WHAT EACH KEYBOARD DOES:

Yamaha Grand: this is self explanatory lol it's a piano

Hohner Clavinet D6: CLAV! think Moma, Sand, etc

Hammond B-3: Maze, Steam as the main instrument, used a lot in jams for staccato stuff and as an uplifting texture
Fender Rhodes: Silky, full-bodied electric piano, used on 2001 mostly and can be characterized by the heavy phaser sound in the last couple of years

Yamaha CS60: Meatstick, What's the Use - think that spaceship-y gradually ascending sound
Wurlitzer (Lil Punkin replaced by full-size Wurli in 2019): flatter and funkier electric piano sound - is the one used on most of the Kasvot Vaxt songs and has been a HUGE part of jams the last few years
Moog Little Phatty: Taken out of the rig after Fall 2014, used in early 3.0 for a lot of Suzy Greenberg solos

Nord Stage 3: Chilling Thrilling/Faceplant samples, Turtle in the Clouds dance section synth
Moog Voyager: in the rig from 2017-2018 and used in a lot of jams for textures and more - this is monophonic which means it cannot play chords (only one note can be pressed at a time)

Alesis Andromeda: used in 17/18 for weird sounds, see BD It's Ice (removed in 19)
Moog One: the 2019 synth! Replaced the Voyager; is polyphonic so multiple notes can be pressed! Most notably used in the beautiful 20 minute mark section of the MSG Tweezer

not pictured: theremin (see very end of BD Simple) and Moog Liberator keytar (Frankenstein)
if you made it this far then congratulations, you're a keyboard nerd ;)
Here’s a shot of the Nord from 2016 - not sure what model it is due to the covers over the logo but I know he got a Stage 3 in 2017!
I'd also like to add a note that I recently noticed that Page got a new organ in 2015 or 2016 - he previously had a wooden Goff organ and now has a black one that I'm not sure the make/model of - if anyone knows, please tell me!
the Nord ALSO has the Ghosts of the Forest intro sample, the Most Events Aren't Planned intro sample, and the I Always Wanted It This Way EDM stuff! Page also used it like once or twice for a choir sample (example during Trey's solo in Turtle in the Clouds 2/22/19)
Page uses an MXR phaser with the clav a lot of the time which adds the watery effect to it! and of course the Hammond is going through a Leslie speaker which gives it the classic rotary sound!
Watching a webcast from Fall 2018 and I have indeed established that Page has a Boss Delay pedal sitting next to his clav - I know it has been a Boss Digital Delay as well at times and I’m not sure when he has ever used it but it’s there!
Addition for the 5/1/89 #phishdinnerandamovie - this is before Page had his baby grand piano, so he was using the Yamaha CP70 electric grand (also used by Keith Godchaux in the late 70s) and a Hammond M-100 organ! Will add any screen caps I am able to get during the webcast!
EXPANSION TIME!! Welcome to the breakdown of Page's rig in 1.0!!

Here we have the band at Amy's Farm in '91 - Page has a Yamaha CP70 electric grand piano (precursor to the baby grand, which debuted in February '93) and a Hammond M-100 organ! Looks like Trey's amp is on top of it
Rhodes either not in the rig yet or just blocked here - if anyone has early 90s pics of that please send them!
Rig on 12/29/94 - significant changes since we last saw it! Yamaha C7 baby grand, Hohner Clavinet E7 (debuted Fall 94), and Moog Source synthesizer all stacked in front of him; Fender Rhodes behind and Hammond B-3 on the left! Unsure of what synth is on the organ - lmk if you do!
Here is a shot from the Clifford Ball in 96 - rig remains relatively stable since end of '94 - removal of mystery synth from organ is the only noticeable change
Beautiful (albeit grainy) shot from Great Went - rig remains the same except the addition of the Yamaha CS60 on top of the organ - it would move to close the square on Page's right side that fall and then finally onto the Rhodes in 1999, where it remains today
7/23/99 - the Moog Source replaced the CS60 (now visible in bottom right corner) on top of the organ, and although Page had a Hohner D6 clavinet in 97, he went back to the E7 for 98 and much of 99 for unclear reasons (as always, if someone knows, please tell me!)
Big Cypress - you can see the distinctive wooden top of what is again a D6 clavinet as well as the corner of the CS60 on the left which has taken its permanent spot on the Rhodes. Moog Source remains in the rig until its removal in 2.0
Brooklyn 04 - fantastic shot of the rig, which remains identical to 99/00 except for the replacement of the Moog Source with an Alesis A6 Andromeda synthesizer - Page uses it during the Free from this show
BONUS ROUND: this show from Vida Blue sessions in 2019 which is basically my dream! From right to left, bottom to top: Fender Rhodes, Yamaha CS60, Alesis Andromeda, Wurlitzer 200A, mystery synth, Nord Stage 3, Hohner Clav D6, Hammond B3 organ, Moog Voyager synth!

AND THAT'S ALL!
One last addition - for Summer Tour 2011 and that Vida Blue shot, Page had a Prophet 12 synth instead of the Little Phatty on top of the organ!
Shot from @jayblakesberg at Shoreline 2000 shows the CS60 on top of the organ instead of the Rhodes - after reviewing some video from Summer 00 to corroborate this and noted that it swapped places with the Moog Source for that year!
Hampton ‘97 - consistent with my Summer 97 rig earlier in the thread with the exception of the CS60 closing the square on Page’s right, new for this tour
