Hi guys. this isn& #39;t my main account and I& #39;m too embarrassed and too scared to talk about this on my main. so my parents recently found out that I& #39;m gay and that is a TABOO. with every passing day my dad gets more violent and with every passing day i fear for my life
In Africa, homosexuality is frowned upon and my parents basically disowned me. the first time my dad found out, e beat me up so badly and my mother just stood there. she just stood there and watched him abuse me.
i went to the police and they laughed at me. they told me that i deserved it and that there was nothing they could do.
they then offered i sleep in a prison holding cell for the night or I go back home with my parents. I& #39;ve never been in prison holding cell before and if all the men that were held in that holding cell that night, i would not have put pass them to beat up
so i decided to go back home with my parents. all of that happened in February. fast forward to now, the Corona situation has worsened in my country and now I& #39;m getting kicked out
I& #39;m getting kicked out because my dad got retrenched and he needs to cut some expenses. i have till the end of July to get a place to stay or I& #39;ll be homeless and destitute
i tried reasoning with them but they wouldn& #39;t listen. i tried opening a @gofundme but their services aren& #39;t available in my country. i need an American bank account to open one. i then tried asking for donations via @PayPal and their services aren& #39;t also available in my country.
i tried everything. I& #39;m applying for jobs but jobs are scarce my country. i tried everything. I& #39;ve even considered prostitution but that& #39;ll mean death for me if I& #39;m caught. i tried everything
i found a place to stay but i need at least $1500 to pay for rent for the next 6 months so please anyone. help me out. I& #39;m asking for my fellow LGBTQ+ to help me. I& #39;ll forever be grateful
I& #39;m still looking for a job but I& #39;m losing hope. I& #39;m trying to get in touch with LGBTQ+ organizations that can help me. if any of you know, please tell me
