🔑 Thread: 3 KEY Reasons why intelligent people are TERRIBLE at making money

Solving the problem of intelligence
This is a updated version with new points from my original thread here: https://twitter.com/YousXP/status/1232399532937416704?s=20
1) 🔑 What has already been done seems not worth doing

Intelligent people like to innovate

The problem with innovation & behind ahead of your time is the market demands have not yet caught up
Intelligent people/innovators want to bring new solutions to society to move society forward

Which truly challenges & utilizes their intelligence

The problem is it takes a lot of money, time, influence, and resources to change what a market demands
So you're going to have to go through a 'get rich via dumbing yourself down' period

🔑 I've noticed this pattern in some people I know

They all currently make around $2-7 million a year

The each have the BEST products in their market by far, literally on a whole other level
People love them and look up to them, but what's funny is they're all somewhat dumbing themselves down

When opening up and sharing their real goals it's always something WAY bigger than trading/social media agency/real estate/being a influencer/ etc

Here's the key...
🔑 They pick something that interests them as a gateway.
It brings them money, influence, connections, etc

It's also more logical. Here's a analogy:

Spending 1.5 years building a Instagram brand to 300k followers
OR
Working a job for 4 months then buying a 300k page
So although their business making $3-7 million a year is not their long term goal.

It's a key component in speeding up the process

🔑 Stupid people see whats working & replicate it.

Intelligent people struggle to do this and want to change the market demand
🔑 Supply what the market demands.

You'll may need to dumb yourself down a bit (the extent depends on the niche/offer)

See whats working. Use your intelligence to do it better.
Supply the demand! 🔑

Hold off on your urge to change the demand
You can begin planting that seed of changing the demand in the background as i've seen with friends/people I know

Once you have resources & influence then you can change the market demand
2) 🔑 Intelligent people can be stimulated in study. Stupid people need action to be stimulated

Intelligent people are able to see through the surface level of things. Breaking down & understanding the functions
& systems

This is good. But in terms of building wealth...
It could hold you back

🔬 A study was done showing buildings to normal people & architecture students

Normal people saw no change in brain function when shown the images

But the architecture students....
Pleasure centers and satisfaction centers fired in their brains

The more we understand the complexities of something, the more we appreciate it

But this also means intelligent people can get pleasure and satisfaction just in THINKING about the project
Whereas the stupid period can't unless they do the project

Intelligent people need to bring this into their awareness and begin to build habits to solidify taking action as the higher stimulation reward

versus contemplating and figuring out a project
^ part of the reason why the intelligent spend so much time contemplating is because of our final key point

3) 🔑 Their intelligence can be used to see all the ways things can go wrong,

and their ability to form arguments can always form strong arguments for not taking action
Stupid people are too dumb to connect dots far into the future or really think of what could go wrong

They take more action

The intelligent person is able to see all that could go wrong. They also can easily form a VERY solid argument to procrastinate and study further
It is important for the intelligent person to energetically point this weakness and switch the angle into a strength

Formulating strong arguments to take action NOW

Understanding the upside of probabilities in taking action and the downside of why not taking action is worse
