Please remember that there's a difference between somebody ignoring what's currently going on and between people who aren't speaking out right away because they're taking the time to educate themselves. There are SO SO SO many things happening in the world and it's impossible for
people to be immediately aware of EVERY thing. It takes time to make sure that you are educating yourselves correctly and people don't want to share inaccurate information. A lot of people also aren't on twitter 24/7 because of work/other personal commitments away from social
media so information takes a little longer to reach them.

While it's so important to be sharing resources and raising awareness of everything, it's just as important to actually be reading these resources, as while retweeting a link can help raise awareness, it isn't effective
if people aren't reading them and it just means that people are aware that 'x' is going on without actually understanding what 'x' is.

While I can't speak for everyone, I've personally been working a lot so haven't been online as much and haven't seen things straight away which
is why I haven't always spoken/shared things immediately, but I've made sure that when I am online I've been sharing petitions/threads/resources+ when I'm not sharing links I've been reading through threads/carrds etc. There are just so many things happening that it takes time.
If you HAVE stayed silent this far and AREN'T currently trying to educate yourselves and learn about current world issues, please please please take the time to do so. You have the choice to ignore these issues but those who are personally affected don't have that luxury.
I guess the main take from this is to actually read the threads/resources you're sharing, educate yourselves as best as you can (there's plenty of educational resources circulating twitter)+If someone doesn't speak up immediately it doesn't always mean that they're being ignorant
I regularly add carrds/threads to this thread but this list is by no means exhaustive. Keep searching for petitions/donation links etc (remember to do your research before donating anywhere and find out where your money is actually going) https://twitter.com/lauvcth/status/1274356151270989825
