Every time I see ace discourse I just

If you’re going to insult my sexuality can you at least be more creative than calling aces a virgin?

Cause like that’s not an insult. When your ace, sex is usually not a priority in your life. The reason it’s insulting is because you saying that means I know you don’t belive me

BUT ALSO if you’re ace you CAN STILL HAVE AND ENJOY SEX
there just isn’t a drive to do so. Or it’s a very low drive. Or it’s a drive that isn’t directed towards anyone at all. Asexual identities are unique, diverse, and dependent on the individual person’s relationship with sex

You’ll find some aces who are very sex repulsed and will NOT have sex.
You’ll also find aces who want to have sex because they want a biological child, or they have an alo partner that they want to make happy (and that’s not a bad thing,) or they’re curious OR MAYBE THEY ENJOY IT

YOU CAN ENJOY SEX AND NOT HAVE A DRIVE TO DO IT
I have no desire to bake a cake, but I sure do love partaking in cake when it’s offered
