I know of queer people pulling in a larger annual income on the DMs Guild than I make in my day job. Saying "go elsewhere" is telling those people to take a very large pay cut.

Addendum: effecting change is never easy and it's never quiet. Nobody ever got anything done by rolling over and playing nice, or by politely picking up their toys and going home.

Addendum the second: this thread has big subtweet vibes, I get that. It's not about anybody in particular. It's about a sentiment I'm seeing from a lot of corners that leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

I'm no defender of the DMs Guild. I absolutely will defend queer indie devs.
