I think most people probably know what happened before I deactivated, but I want to make a few things clear about my thread and that whole situation. For starters, nobody helped me. Nobody was part of making that thread but me, and nobody pushed me to do it. It was just me.
Second, there was nothing in my thread that outed anyone and there was nothing in my thread that would be considered personal information. If you don’t believe me, you can see my thread here and check for yourself. https://twtext.com/article/1274732552478228483
If the photos won’t load, I am more than happy to provide those via DM. Now, what I DID try to show with my thread is that bts_snipper has multiple links to Imjoonscrab via mutual accounts and mutual friends, which is true.
By their own admission, snipper was already out to their following before my thread ever dropped. They even spoke about it the day before my thread came out, and given that they have a public account with 50k+ followers, that’s not private or some big secret.
I don’t know where the “doxxing” claim came from. I haven’t seen anyone post their personal information at all. Even the details they posted to try and clear their name are not considered identifying or enough to count as “doxxing.”
I am not apologizing for the thread because I was right, and I know people don’t want to believe that because of the photos that have been posted on snipper’s account, but the person in those photos is not them. Their name is not Laila and they do not live in France.
The DM conversation that snipper posted to show they were “outed” was with a friend named Rim. This is Rim. You can see the profile picture matches the one on FB.
Rim does not have a single friend named Laila on their friends list, but they are friends with Aya.
When snipper was posting their response thread, they posted this tweet with a photo of themselves as the last photo for “proof” & tagged “an irl friend” to vouch for them. I don’t know who that “friend” is, but that photo is not of a person named Laila.
The real person in those photos is not someone named Laila, and they live in the same part of Morocco as Crabs did, not France. This person didn’t even know their photos were being used and wanted snipper’s account reported when I contacted her.
The name Laila comes from Aya’s step mom. That’s her name. There is no “Laila” using the bts_snipper account.
All the other things I was trying to explain in my last thread were leading up to this. Aya made that account the day before they deactivated Imjoonscrab and followed it from their backup/private account, as well as multiple other side accounts, right away to help boost it.
Given the fact that they’re using an entire fake identity, there is no trans non binary Laila to out or doxx. That was a lie and Aya knew that it was when they said that, but I don’t think they cared, they just wanted me to shut up & they knew people would react to that claim.
And this was the result of that. Having my sexuality invalidated. People making weird threats.
And there were a lot, these were just the worst of them. All over a lie. So I deactivated because it was honestly overwhelming and some people were talking about wanting to find info and doxx me, and I needed to break away from that.
Something I forgot to mention early on that was NOT in my thread despite claims that it was, I never said anyone NEEDED to post proof of their identity. You can see that in the thread for yourself in the link provided near the beginning of this.
I also want to clarify that people somehow boiled this whole thing down to “over kpop” when that’s really not it. I don’t think many people even read the entire thread on crabs and why she was so problematic. It’s not just about armylimpics and that website.
I’ll link the original thread once I’m off private, and I encourage anyone to read it, but in short, she stole translations, art, emotionally manipulated a ton of people to avoid getting called out for lies, lied about overdosing on drugs, sent sexually explicit things to minors
Stole entire fan projects & archives from other accounts, used someone else’s identity to try and hack that major army fanbase (this ended up not going through), lied about defending lesbians in court for clout, & has used her massive following to attack people &get them dogpiled
Among many other things. This was NEVER just some dumb, petty kpop shit. This person is emotionally manipulative as hell and has no limits on what they will lie about to keep their clout, even if other people get hurt. I know many that were friends with her can attest to that.
Once I realized it was her, I had to say something. I understand people want to believe in that account because they believe what they do is good for the fandom and they work as a “fandom leader,” but that doesn’t cancel out the bad things & it needed to be called out.
Even now they’re continuing to lie in a very Aya fashion. Just yesterday they posted a video of them at their house with a pool, blasting bts when they have previously claimed they’re 20 and live alone in France. What 20 year old can afford a house with a pool in France?
This is that tweet. Additionally, they claimed early on that the other admin was “a doctor” and claimed they contacted a lawyer for one of their reports. It’s the same type of lies Aya used to say. It was becoming more obvious by the day.
Even the claims that they were just a small private account when they did the first “face reveals” are not true. 1. Because it’s not even their face and 2. They had 27k followers!!! These are from the same day, two hours apart.
Their whole claim that someone helped them convince their family that everything was fake makes no sense. They’re using a fake identity & they admitted they were already out in their statement. WHAT could they have said to their family to convince them their own tweets were fake?
Behind the scenes, Aya was continuing to lay it on thick with the emotional manipulation. I don’t know how many people she said this to, but she claimed she tried to k*ll herself twice. When Aya got exposed the first time, she said the same thing and claimed she was overdosing.
She says in the beginning of this message that it’s been all my fault since day 1 and she wanted an apology. Idk what she even means by day 1 unless she’s referring to my original thread on crabs because I was not the first to even question bts_snipper or say they were Aya.
Someone else had done an entire thread before I had, multiple people had suspected it and she barely reacted, but when it was me finally airing it out, she freaked out. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s because I did the expose the first time & she was worried, so she shut me down
It’s all been one big lie. The whole identity is fake. There was no Laila to our or doxx because Laila doesn’t exist. It’s all fake, and she lied about it all to keep her twitter clout, which is honestly disgusting and horrible. Not to mention she instigated a witch hunt.
As I’ve already said, it was JUST ME. Nobody helped me. I didn’t even know some of the people that were being accused of helping me with the thread or being in a gc with me. Those that are my mutuals still weren’t invovled, it was literally just me and my decision.
But Aya enabled this giant attack on me and anyone who questioned them by acting like we were all doing it together as some sort of organized plot to hurt them for no reason when really they just aren’t a good liar and lots of people are perceptive.
I’m gonna wrap this up now. Regardless of how genuinely shitty this whole thing was, I don’t want anyone doxxed. I don’t want anyone attacked the way I was. I just want people to be more mindful of who they interact with and give a platform to.
I also really hope that people will pause and consider the evidence before jumping on the defensive when someone questions or calls out someone you may think is great or that you like. I would like to go back to posting my normal bts content now.
Oh, and as promised, now that I’m off private, here’s the original thread on Aya. It’s very long, but it gives a much better understanding of why people don’t like her.
