1/ Two years of ID fellowship and here& #39;s what I& #39;ve learnt.
1. You can never read enough. So keep reading.
2. Experience > knowledge but knowledge adds to experience
3. Pay attn on rounds, attendings will randomly throw out a board pearl without even knowing it. #IDtwitter
2/
4. Horses are more common than zebras. Move the zebras higher on the differential for Atypical findings, refractory to treatment, or unusual exposures.
5. A good history does wonders in adding to your differential #IDtwitter
3/
6. Theres a fine line between being a good abx steward and broad empiric Rx. The contrast gets better with experience but do what& #39;s best for ur patient.
7. When in doubt, ask
8. Cultures are a guiding star
9. Use multiple resources. Books, pubmed, podcast, CMEs use em all
4/
10. The balance between research, clinical activities, and reading. Dont neglect one for the other.

And with that, it& #39;s a wrap https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😊" title="LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit lĂ€chelnden Augen" aria-label="Emoji: LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit lĂ€chelnden Augen">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😊" title="LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit lĂ€chelnden Augen" aria-label="Emoji: LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit lĂ€chelnden Augen">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😊" title="LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit lĂ€chelnden Augen" aria-label="Emoji: LĂ€chelndes Gesicht mit lĂ€chelnden Augen">
