If anything I hope today fans of @jypnation artists come together and realize the company is the problem NOT the other artists.
There is a mismanagement/favoritism/shaming problem going on behind the scenes at that organization.

Fans should come together to demand better.

Whether you want to acknowledge it or not GOT7 is definitely mistreated. There's too much evidence to ignore. They are also successful & "keep the lights on" at JYPE.

Those gents are all hella talented but are confined to JYP's/production's vision. They won't let them expand.

TWICE faces similar discrimination of other ggs in the industry. The company absolutely will not let them mature the way the ladies obviously want to.

Yes, they definitely help "keep the lights on" but at what cost? Their individuality isn't explored.

Today's cry from Jae shows DAY6 is facing things too. They aren't promoted with as much fervor or as as GOT7 (which isn't much itself) or TWICE (which is haphazard & overlaps w/ Japan promos).

This is a band of great singers & musicians whose fans keep them afloat. PERIOD.

SKZ gets to explore more and has more room to fail or fly than other groups but they are constantly harrassed by sasaengs and the company does minimal to prevent this. Their information is leaked seemingly every other month. This is wrong.

ITZY still has minors and I just don't see the protections in place that should be be there. I shudder every time I think about Yuna being surrounded at KCON last year by all those male Fansites/news orgs and how uncomfortable she looked. No one was there to protect her.

We all saw how JYP himself fatshamed one of the Nizi project contestants this season.

As an icon in the industry he should be trying to change these perceptions & move kpop in a different direction, especially on the heels of the losses of last year.

But he perpetuates the bs

This all HAS to change. JYPE MUST DO BETTER.

This isn't just people's careers, it's their lives, health, and saftey on the line.

If they don't initiate change in the industry they will lose their place in the industry & go back to where they were b4 GOT7 & TWICE's debuts.

Hell, I didn't mention the previous generation's artists who all left at contract time. But @LullabyJeong has a great thread on that.

Imagine having all the artists from 2PM/AM, Wonder Girls, Miss A, 15& and others at your fingertips BUT letting them go bc of mismanagement.

This thread can help you understand how long this has been going on and what/whom/the power JYPE has lost because they refuse to adapt, grow, and change.

Think bigger! The entire industry is fcked & needs an enema. As fans we have to demand better treatment for our faves.
