The problem a lot of low level players do not understand is that in ultimate they can casually say "haha learn the matchup stop complaining about low tiers" but have you thought about it realistically?

This may sound like johns or whatever but hear me out

Theres 80 fucking characters in the game. If you tried to learn 2 matchups a week in depth it would take more than a single year if everything went well, forget about patches that changes characters

And logistically, you'd need to find a good player for those characters every single week. You need to then adjust for patches. It isn't as simple as "just learn 80 matchups in the game"

In other smash games it WAS as simple as that because there were simply less characters. Yes that is a part of getting good and yes you SHOULD learn problematic matchups but sakurai buffing every "low tier" he can in every patch is just like...come on man lol

I dont think balancing a game is making every1 good & viable i think there needs to be a balance of good & bad characters. This might sound like a mid level excuse and sure you can @ scrubquotes but i can assure u even the highest level player has the same thought in this game

IM not a high level player by any means so take all of this as a grain of salt i am just venting my thoughts. u can agree or disagree and maybe im wrong but this is how i feel
