It's the last day of pride and therefore a great time to post the entire set of LGBT+ Armory illustrations!!! Starting off with Sword Lesbian, which was my very first design, featuring roses, because I'm an Utena fan first and foremost (thread) #PrideMonth #Pride #LGBTQ
I started the series primarily for me, because I was tired of pride flag merchandise being just...flags...and I'm a weapons/dnd nerd, so what started as one design quickly grew to...the entire armory! Battleaxe Bi was my second design, and Mace Ace my third. #Pride #bisexual #ace
Pan is the only identity to get 2 weapons because I was entirely indecisive and didn't want to JUST do a joke weapon, and I also couldn't give up the pun, so thus, both were born. #pansexual
These two were incredibly fun because I got the challenge of making rainbow work, AND the challenge of making a mostly monochrome palette work: #gay #aromantic
These two weapons are still some of my favorites, because I got to try out wildly different designs. Illustrating the waves in trident trans was one of my favorite parts of the whole armory. #transpride #queer
These two illustrations were done recently, and it's wild to me how much my style + process has changed since I began the armory. I love how lush and vibrant they came out! #nonbinary #genderqueer
Dagger Demi's design was inspired by the triangle on the demi flag! We Fight As One was illustrated for the kickstarter, because we blew through my stretch goals so quickly it led me to develop a "unity weapon" designed for everyone under the umbrella + supporters. #LGBTQ #Pride
And finally we come to the end: Polyarmory was a design I had mentally planned from the start b/c I love nothing more than a weapons-based pun, and it worked so perfectly as a support for my original concept. Using the infinity symbol of the flag was my favorite part. #polyamory
Lastly, thank you for supporting the armory. Every time I pack an order I still have a moment of wonder that someone resonated enough with my work to want to own it. It's the part of design that just never gets old, and I'm so glad so many people have found comfort through it!
