I have been told my identity is outdated. I have opinions and experiences that are rooted in Gen X Third Wave Queer of Color Politics that are no longer in vogue. So I don't share them, because no one cares.

In case you counter--but you stream and you have a twitter and teach! These are all true things...but performing is not the same thing as being seen. And I can teach history without my own history being heard or cared about. And it is okay. It is what it is
