Jessica Hyun-ju Ho, better known by her stage name Jessi, is a Korean-American rapper, singer, and songwriter based in South Korea.

She was born on 17th December 1988 (31 years old) in New York, raised in New Jersey, and moved to South Korea at the age of 15. -Wikipedia

Jessi’s fandom name is “Jabbie”, which sounds very similar to the Korean word for the swallow bird, “jebi”. Thus, Jessi has a tattoo of a swallow on her arm to remind her of her loving fans every day.

She debuted as a soloist on December 1st 2005 with the song “Get Up” under the name Jessica H.O

and she had her first comeback with the album “The Rebirth” in 2009.

On July 17, 2014, after five years break, Jessi debuted as a part of the hip-hop trio Lucky J, under YMC Entertainment.

In 2016, Jessi was a member of the first season of the variety show Sister's Slam Dunk and its group Unnies. The project group released their first single on July 1, 2016.
