FINALLY!! I’ve been trying to get people to talk about the racism towards people of Islam and Muslim culture and descent. And it’s wrong and horrible. And all because of the fact that they wear a hijab and believe different than you and come from a different background.
They have been racially stereotyped since the first act of terrorism. And being called terrorists murderers and bombers to their face because of the evil acts of people with similar beliefs. This is horrible.
They are unfortunately bag searched and patted down far more often at airports and places with security because of their race and religious backgrounds. This is fowl and unacceptable.
That being said, please ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure you double check where you get your information and where you are donating so that the money you donate goes to the cause and not to greedy people.
Because there are unfortunately organizations out there claiming to help the cause when in reality they are using the money for their own benefit. Never donate without doing your research!!!
We are here to bring awareness and light to these things, NOT make them worse. Please if you would like to donate I will link information to this thread at the end.
