LCMS, put me on the next hymnal committee. Here's my agenda:

1. NO MORE OPTIONS IN THE DIVINE SERVICE SETTINGS. One Divine Service will have the Gloria, for example. Another with have "This Is the Feast." Whichever one you want to sing, pick the DS that features it. Far less confusing this way.

2. KEEP ALL THE LITURGICAL ELEMENTS IN THE SAME SPOT IN EACH DIVINE SERVICE SETTING. It's confusing having the Creed or the Prayer of the Church or the offering in different spots in each Divine Service.

3. BRING BACK THE MUSICAL SETTINGS FROM TLH MATINS. They are objectively more beautiful than the LSB version.

4. Have the Apostles' Creed in Matins and Vespers.

5. Kill off all the Methodist hymns except "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing."
