Hello @showbtph

As someone who roots for SB19's success, pls allow me to lay out my expectations from you as their label.

This is going to be a very technical thread, so I hope you can find it useful and insightful for your handling of the boys' rising career.

@SB19Official
To Mr. Robin Geong, I hope you're really being sincere. I want to believe that you are. However, as long as you maintain your silence, allegations will persist. Peace will not prosper, and our unity as a fandom will not be achieved.

You're the only person who+

@SB19Official
can shed light on whatever is plaguing this fandom. It will never be right to blame one opposing party neither it is acceptable to tolerate any act of offense. One thing's for sure: it's a must that you speak up—for the sake of the boys whom you consider sons.+
__
@SB19Official
And it's almost imperative, sir, that you do it quick. Time is always of the essence. These boys are racing against time, as stardom is fleeting and as much as it can happen overnight, it could also vanish in an instant—just like that.

I hope you understand.+

> DIRECTION

Pls let me indulge myself and allow me to reference how other groups/labels execute things. This is not a blatant comparison. And yes, it's about time to introduce #ATEEZ 's amazing label, KQ Entertainment.

SBTPh and KQ came into limelight on the+

same year, 2016. Their flagship groups, SB19 and ATEEZ, respectively, also debuted on the same month of the same year: October 2018 (a few days apart).

Of course, given KQ's deeper pool of resources and it being based solely in S.Korea, there's a clear edge+
__
@SB19Official
considering the two labels' situations. First, SBTPh was and still is penetrating the rock band-loving Philippines. For the record, they are pioneering the sub-genre of P-pop, and kudos to them for taking a leap of faith and risking their time and resources.+
__
@SB19Official
Case in point: how did KQ do it?

Let's take the differences in genres out of the equation. It'd be unfair for you guys at SBT considering ATEEZ is pure K-pop, a global export of S.Korea, the driving force of Hallyu spearheaded by mammoth acts like BTS and BP.+
__
@SB19Official
P-pop, as it is now, cannot hold a candle to K-pop. It will not dare lol (for now).

BUT, Pinoy fans are arguably the most passionate in this side of the world. You can never go wrong with a fandom dominated by Filos.

I'd go on the gray area for talking about+
__
@SB19Official
this, but sometimes we tend to be so passionate that we forget to be positively critical (a typical Pinoy trait, sorry for being too soft lmao). That's what makes your work ethics effective in formulating a compelling recipe for success.

Which brings us to...+

@SB19Official
> PLANNING

So, how did KQ managed to deliver 2 sold-out world tours, export #ATEEZ to America, rake in worldwide fans (called Atiny), and produce a full-length album, 3 EPs, and 13 music videos in less than 2 years?

It's meticulous planning+clever marketing.+
__
@SB19Official
I believe you guys are excellent producers. But I hope you're amazing planners, too.

You see, we have this thing called 'eras', right? In Kpop, an era typically span one or two comebacks, one image change, a full-length EP with at least two title tracks, and+
__
@SB19Official
that usually culminates in a studio album release (usually accompanied by a more flashy comeback, heavy promotion, dozens of TV guestings, and a full-blown tour to promote the album.

For most Kpop groups (or labels), an era last from 3-6 months up to a year+
__
@SB19Official
(hi BLINKS lol). Most eras are defined by the studio album released during that era (ex. MOTS:7 era or OBSESSION era. Some are best described by the most popular title track (ex. Boy With Luv era or Kill This Love era) from the album or EP.

Why learn all this?
__
@SB19Official
So you guys can plan everything.

From the single/EP/album covers (even the fonts used) to the music videos to the wardrobe during their live performances, SB19 would look much more appealing if there is cohesion on how you present them to the curious public.+
__
@SB19Official
SUGGESTION: You can start dropping hints for the comeback as early as now. I don't know if you guys are aware, but this is a fandom who loves to overthink. A hooded figure looking at the sky? Drop it. Pieces of broken mirrors scattered on the floor? Drop it.+
__
@SB19Official
Masked faces of members? Drop it. The point is, it will generate hype and excitement for the comeback. Let's see if SB19's ofc acc does not trend every freaking day.

Also, make sure that what they wear, what they post (in ofc SNS), and what they say in public+
__
@SB19Official
(ie. TV guestings) are somehow creating a link to their comeback. If their next era is all about 'secrets' then be mysterious. If the next era is all about hope then show off an uplifting vibe. Remember: it's the little things that make an era a very vivid one+
__
@SB19Official
as the minutest of details are what build the entirety of the picture.

Last thing: concepts.

Imo, I love music that tells a story. An era that narrates a collection of stories, even more so. It's what I love about #ATEEZ . The concepts are always on point.+
__
@SB19Official
Their music videos are linked and interconnected just like a whole cinematic universe. It's really amazing how their songs convey messages about finding your own 'treasure' and use the concept of a 'pirate king' to creatively and effectively present that song.+
__
@SB19Official
Of course, their prod sets for their TV guestings give the same vibe as their MVs.

SB19 will really benefit from having concept-based eras. Filos are suckers for great story-telling (a la Moira Dela Torre with her trilogy, yes? That's what I'm talking about).+
__
@SB19Official
So yeah, that's basically my expectations for SB19's most anticipated comeback. I hope you guys can work this out just like KQ did, but don't forget to infuse it with our boy's own flair. I'd keep on letting you know of my suggestions. I hope you guys are always open to them.✹😁
