Merriam Webster have decided this is their definition of
"𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣"

But what, I wonder, do MW mean by 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 and by 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙚?

Obviously this is circular. It's more of a naming protocol for our own species, than a definition. And also it's in the wrong place, since the primary definition belongs at the top.

And that's what happens when you tell a little white lie and haven't the balls to extrapolate it all the way to it's logical conclusion.
You're stuck with a visibly outrageous whopper.

To make the impossible possible, or as Merriam Webster have done here, tried to make sperm producers (men) be 'recognised' as egg producers (women), I'm afraid you can't just shoehorn a single new definition in and hope people don't notice it doesn't fit.

Oho no.

No, to make the impossible possible, you have to redefine EVERYTHING so it all slots together again.

That means sex/woman/man/female/male/egg/sperm/gametes/reproduction.

They ALL have to be changed, or deleted.
Because otherwise there will always be a glitch in the matrix.

Or, and this is my personal preference, we just stick to the truth in the first place.
