There’s nothing quite like the moment of panic when you think your ferret may have climbed up the chimney....

We cleaned out our fireplace (which hasn’t been used in years as far as we know) yesterday - we’ve kept it closed off from the ferrets bc of soot pending a deep clean. We put a storage box in it to cover the hole that used to connect our fireplace with the one below us...

Anyways, Honey climbed on top of the storage box and disappeared from sight, as Faelan and I were watching. And I had a “oh god the chimney is sealed right?!?”. It was and she’s fine, thank god.
