It recently discovered that I wash my hair in a bizarre way. I have ALWAYS washed my hair whilst fully clothed, bent over forwards, using the detachable shower head. Feet/body on dry land. Head leaning into shower. No soap or water in eyes, ever. Win win. IS THAT REALLY SO WEIRD?

I mean of course I know that *most* people wash their hair leaning back in the shower but I never knew my method was so unusual. Leaning back don’t you get water & soap in your eyes?! And the water washes my contact lenses out = WET FACED AND BLIND

My friends were puzzled when the other day I said ‘I hate rain showers because I can’t wash my hair’ and then aghast when I explained further

The discussion surrounding this has made me recall one particular year we were in Singapore and the hotel we stayed in only had a rain shower (no attachment) so twice a week I had my hair washed in a salon across the road rather than risk getting water in my eyes, I am ashamed
