The FantasyNFLUK Charity league - Group A:

A thread of the charities being supported, and the first round pick for each one!
1.01 - @martinyoung999 representing Alzeimers Support drafts Christian McCaffery. 'The first pick was no contest. This year there is no debate. CMC is the top pick in fantasy football. With Teddy B dinking and dunking the Carolina offense will run through McCaffrey.'
1.02 - @123steve5875 representing St Columbas Hospice, selects Patrick Mahomes. 'Decided to go QB early so I had at least one elite QB. I fully expect Mahomes to continue where he left of last season, and think he was the safer choice over Lamar.'
1.03 - @fantasy_nfluk representing the Garwood Foundation, selects Saquon Barkley. 'When the opportunity comes up to take Saquon, I take it. Best RB in the league, second best RB in fantasy. I don't wanna hear it.'
1.04 - @Kierran_A25 representing Bliss Scotland, selects Ezekiel Elliot. 'I took Zeke with the 4th pick because with CMC and Barkley already off the board I rated Zeke the best of the rest and think a high scoring RB, who gets their fair share of receptions as well.'
1.05 - @Dav_F10Y representing Cancer Research UK, selects Alvin Kamara. I’ve been bitten by not targeting RBs and quarterbacks early in SF leagues before so wanted to take best RB available in the first round and snatch my quarterback in the second. I’m delighted with Kamara.
1.06 - @LisgoSkol representing the Bradley Lowery Foundation selects Lamar Jackson. 'Lamar Jackson - The dual threat QB I had ranked as my QB1. The leagues MVP who put up crazy numbers! The Ravens schedule looks great for them and I see him putting up spectacular numbers again'
1.07 - @AJHenson1985 representing Sands selects Derrick Henry. 'My aim is always to get a top RB on the board first if possible. It was a choice between Henry and Cook. Despite being a Vikings fan, the contract issue being unresolved meant I couldn't take that risk.'
1.08 - @TimFitzgibbon1, representing Pieta House Ireland, selects Travis Kelce. I drafted Kelce first as TE is usually a weak spot in my team due to few elite options at the position. Decided this time around I wouldn’t miss out & the bonus reception points helps too!
1.09 - @GridironyUK, representing St Christophers Hospice selects Michael Thomas. 'I really struggled to pick here as my favourite player (Cook) was still there. I didn’t want to risk being lumbered with a stud sitting out the first few games. So went for the clear WR1.'
1.10 - @DynastyIsland representing MPS Society UK selects George Kittle. 'I went in with the approach of taking best player available. I had miles sanders at 10 and kittle at 11. But felt more confident that sanders would make it to me at 2.03 so went kittle at 1.10'
1.11 - @tommysavs representing the Kiyan Prince Foundation selects Dalvin Cook. 'The Vikings rush, a lot. With Diggs now at the Bills and a potential restricted offseason it could mean they rush more next year, so more points for Cook. And no, I’m not worried about contracts.'
1.12 - @RoyalBearC reprsenting Diabetes UK selects Joe Mixon. 'Mixon has an exciting skill set. He is explosive out of the backfield and has better hands than most people give him credit for. With the Bengals expecting to be better in 2020 I was glad to still get him at 1.12'
Some great causes going head to head to win the generous pot, all thanks to the guys taking part. I'll keep everyone updated throughout the season, and there are still a few spots left for Group B!
