HAPPENING NOW: The “Texas Bars Fight Back” protest is happening outside the Texas Capitol to protest the closing the bars statewide.

Bar owners out here saying they’re going to re-open tomorrow against Abbott’s current order - encouraging others to do the same.

“You’re not supposed to be there for just one business, but for all. Governor Abbott is supposed to be a leader, not a follower.”

More speakers are speaking out and talking about what bar closings means to them.

“Today our cause is that Governor Abbott has violated our Constitutional Rights and the order needs to be voided.”
