inspired by @levesquelsimp's post about the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons, here is a thread on all the big crossover fandoms that used to be MASSIVE
so obviously you know of RotBTD but do you know about the Rise of the Brave Tangled Frozen Dragons aka the super six
this became popular after the frozen movie came out. This resulted in MESSY ship wars including the notorious ships Jackunzel vs Jelsa.

I'm telling you now these guys RULED the crossover fandoms
now before Elsa & Anna came into the picture, part-time members of the RotBTD were Mavis from Hotel Transylvania and The Once-ler from The Lorax. After Frozen came out they were swiftly removed. However, some people still acknowledged them and they became The Spectacular Six.
usually, the pairings were Mavis x The Once-ler, Rapunzel x Jack and Merida x Hiccup.
next up is the modern four aka the futuristic four. This consisted of Wilbur (Meet the Robinsons), Violet (The Incredibles), Penny (Bolt) and Hiro (Big Hero Six). sometimes Riley (Inside Out) Tip (Home) & Vanellope von Schweetz (Wreck-It Ralph) were added.
I don't know where to begin with these guys but they were originally used as side characters in the RotBTD fandom for a long time. They then eventually got their own group. Usual pairings were Wilbur x Violet and Penny x Hiro
Another group is X-Villains aka EX-Villains this normally consisted of Megamind, Gru, Wreck-It Ralph and the Once-ler (Can't find a picture with him in it).

these guys usually served as the Bad-Guys-Go-Good characters in RotBTD. Eventually, people realised these guys deserved their own group and the X-Villains were born
