So I& #39;ve not had much time to do anything in lockdown, but I *have* found it a really useful pause for reflection. I& #39;ve been busy in my notebook asking: what do I want life to be like from now on? What do I care about now? What& #39;s next for me?

So here are the results...
I& #39;ve realised I& #39;m missing having teaching as part of my mix, so I& #39;ve set up my very own writing school on Teachable! I& #39;m quite excited about it, because I can do so much more online than I could ever do/cope with in person.

I launched my first two courses yesterday...
1. Wintering for Writers, which is for anyone who& #39;s hit a fallow period in their practice - blocked, frustrated, rejected, feeling invisible, losing ground.

It& #39;s a kind, reflective, self-directed course drawing on nature & folklore to find wisdom.

2. Writing Your True Story - this is for anyone who wants to get serious about creative non-fiction as part of a small learning community - memoir, nature, narrative NF, book-length journalism...

It& #39;s a 6-week course, starting in September.

Writing Your True Story is good for:
• Writers with a bit of experience who now want to level up (and don& #39;t want to commit to an MA)
• Journalists, bloggers and novelists who are turning their attention to writing a non-fiction book.

It& #39;s not a & #39;starting to write& #39; course.
Finally, I want to form a community of other people who, like me, love non-fiction best of all. So I& #39;m starting a newsletter for anyone who writes or edits NF. First post on Friday. Sign up here:
