Rand Paul is currently shamelessly (and unsurprisingly) ranting about government overstep, and basically saying Fauci should stop trying to fear monger over COVID.

It's important to watch this for a couple of reasons:
1. As Paul is clearly demonstrating with his rant, GOP leadership largely continue to not take this seriously. 2. Important to remember (and I'm annoyed the media has basically dropped this): the HEROES Act (HR 6800) passed the House in May.

3. This bill, plus what is being discussed at this hearing, determines where this country is going with COVID.
We either start focusing on a strategy, or we're going to continue seeing horrifying spikes across the country.
