“don’t be so sensitive! just ignore the trolls!” online they may hide behind burner accounts, but these are REAL fucking people who blend in the crowd with everybody else at events

and sometimes they’re even people who you considered your friends, who you thought you could trust

and even if it isn’t someone the victim knows, it’s someone YOU may know. it’s men in friend groups whose “harmless jokes” go unchecked cuz your fucking friendship is more important than calling out predatory behavior
