Are you new to art? Do you want to draw? Or are you even a current artist looking for advice? Well here's a thread explaining different pitfalls artists face.
I am an intermediate artist at best, so I may not have the best knowledge of art, but I digress.

1) "My art isn't popular, is it bad?"
Ratings should never have an impact on how well art is in general. In fact, there are many reasons one piece gets attention and one doesn't, like algorithms. Rather, try to be proud of what you make, even if the likes are small.

2) "People tell me references are bad."
Even professional artists use references. Using a reference isn't cheating, and it can only help.

3) "My art is bad because I can't draw X in Y way."
Everyone draws differently. For example, two artists can draw a bird based on the exact same picture, and still look different because they draw it differently.

4) "I'll never be as good as X"
Going back to what I said earlier, artists draw very differently. But also they may have more experience drawing in general.

5) "This is so challenging, I can't do it"
It may be hard, but a challenge changes you and helps you improve for the better. Even if it doesn't turn out the best, it helps you a lot more than you think.

6) "I don't draw fast enough"
Everyone goes at their own pace, and thus their own rhythm. You don't have to be fast, you can take your time.

7) "I'm not improving enough"
Improvement comes in increments. It's honed after drawing after drawing. Does this mean you have to draw the same thing over and over again? No, it just means improvement comes after each piece.

8) "This piece isn't perfect"
Perfection cannot be achieved. Each piece is bound to have at least a few mistakes in it.

9) "I suck at drawing hands and such!"
Practice, practice, practice! Try drawing different hand positions, such as a high-five or holding something.

Well, that's about all I got. I hope this helps to whoever's reading it!
