I am seeking a postdoctoral scientist who is passionate about investigating human consciousness. This is an NIH supported, multi-year (2-3y) position, and includes the potential for subsequent promotion to a faculty position dependent on experience and track record… (1/6)
This position will be focused on developing (and testing) computational models about neurobiological signals that drive human subjective experience - i.e., “what is it like to be a [human]?”. (2/6)
The project is funded to support human neuroimaging including fMRI, MEG, and intracranial recording (including human voltammetry). Candidates with experience with any of these modalities are desired, but not required if a strong quantitative background can be demonstrated. (3/6)
A strong background in any area of quantitative science is desired, and does not necessarily need to be in neuroscience (e.g., candidates from physics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science, etc. are encouraged to apply). (4/6)
As a mentor and PI, I strive to provide an #antiracist and #antidiscrimination academic environment. I support #BLM. I support #womeninstem, #URM, and #LBGTQ advancement in neuroscience and academia. (5/6)
Contact me directly for more information including how to apply. (6/6)
