Well, no better time like the present.

To tell... my story.

I am 28 years old

My birthday often falls the day before or the day after Thanksgiving, but never on it.

I was born in the Midwest, but grew up in the South.

All a part of my vocabulary that is hard to break.

Graduated college in 2014 from the University of Oklahoma.

Boomer!

No real clue what I wanted to do.

So what did I do after graduating?

I made the only logical decision I could think of and went to flight school.

I never knew I wanted to be a pilot.

No one in my family was a pilot.

I just loved aviation, and wanted to make a lot of money.

Oh how that all changed.

Since flight school, I have held the following jobs:

Flight Instructor
Customer Support Rep
Recruiter
Flight Instructor
Customer Support Rep
CSR Team Lead
Recruiter

Some jobs lasting months, others lasting years.

You can see I've hopped around.

Becoming a pilot professionally didn't work out.

I'm okay with that.

Half of my jobs didn't continue long term.

I'm okay with that.

Because:

I never stopped believing in myself.

I never stopped setting bigger goals for myself.

Life works in funny ways.

Even as of a couple of months ago.

Discovering the wonderful world of Money Twitter.

Wouldn't have dreamed of all that is possible here.

Now I'm striving to make this my main hustle one day!

No matter what I've done, I've always given my all.

I guess the point of this thread.

Was in part to get to know me a little bit.

But.

To also show that it is okay if you don't have life figured out.

We all grow.

We all change.

We all adapt at different speeds.

I would argue that most people never really have their lives figured out completely.

That is okay!

Keep pursuing your passions.

Keep pursuing your dreams.

No matter how young or old you are, never give up.

Focus on your happiness first and foremost.

Never stop growing.
