i've made jokes about mion being my religion before but genuinely higurashi is so entwined with who i am as a person that i think it might actually be spiritual at this point

it's sad that it's not well known because it's such a fucking incredible piece of art, but at the same time the fact that I don't know anyone else who likes it (as much as I do, anyway) makes it more personal

I see a lot of people talking about how influential Umineko was on them, so it's interesting to me that i feel that way too, but about higurashi (I do like umineko, it just doesn't hold the same meaning for me)
